My baby is 3

My baby turned three years old today! We celebrated with grilled steak and shrimp - the dinner he specifically requested (who taught him to eat like that??? I'm going to regret that in a few years). I'd like to say that I can't believe how quickly the time has flown, but I'm not really sure that's true. And I don't remember his birth or his newborn days like they were yesterday, either. But there are glimpses, short moments, when I look at him and I see a young boy instead of the baby or toddler I've been used to. He looks like a little boy all the time, really, but I don't always see him that way, so instead there are those sharp, heart stopping moments when I gaze at him and wonder how we got here. However it was, it sure is fun.
